Tucked into downtown Hamilton neighbourhood near the escarpment, our Forest Avenue office delivers specialist implant and aesthetic dental care.
Dr. Recep Nejat Sezer has 30+ years of general dentistry experience across Istanbul, military service as an Army Dental Surgeon, and Canada. After clearing the National Dental Examining Board of Canada exams, he built a Canadian practice centred on implant dentistry. He holds a Master of Implantology from J.W. Goethe-University Frankfurt, completed the UCLA-GIDE Master Clinician Program, and was appointed as an accredited tutor for Goethe’s Master’s Degree Course in Oral Implantology. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists — one of the field’s most respected credentials. His training in Exocad digital design and Navident navigational surgery keeps his techniques current, and his patients trust him for the precision and care he brings to every appointment.

The CDCP is a federal government program that helps eligible Canadians cover the cost of dental care. Yes, we proudly accept it — if you're enrolled, we'll work with your coverage to make treatment as affordable as possible.
It depends on your individual situation, but most patients complete their implant treatment over a few appointments across several months. Because we have an in-house dental lab, we can often move faster than practices that send work out.
The procedure itself is done under local anesthetic, so most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is. Some mild soreness in the days after is normal, and Dr. Sezer will make sure you know exactly how to manage it.
Bring your health card, any dental insurance information, and a list of medications you're currently taking. If you have recent dental X-rays from another provider, those are helpful too — though not required.
Yes, we direct bill most major insurance providers so you're not out of pocket waiting for reimbursement. We recommend calling us ahead of your visit so we can confirm your coverage details before you arrive.
A dental emergency is anything that causes severe pain, sudden swelling, a knocked-out tooth, or a broken restoration that's left you unable to eat or speak comfortably. If you're unsure whether it qualifies, call us anyway — we'd rather hear from you than have you wait.
